      lain Richardson


      As co-founder of the mining & exploration company Hexa Resources, he has helped the team to develop the investor and funding strategy for the business ahead of a listing on the Canadian Stock Exchange. A dynamic and passionate entrepreneur, he possesses a broad base of hands-on deal-making skills with a strong investment and management consulting experience across a range of industries including finance, natural resources, film and media. This diverse exposure means that the Company is well placed with an experienced business operator.


      Alberto Liebenberg


      Brings a wealth of insight and experience to the team, having carved an impressive track record in both the corporate world and South Africa’s vibrant entrepreneurial marketplace. Proven operational and managerial capabilities complement his dynamic flair and interpersonal skills. He spent 11 years at Anglo and Capital as a Market and Technical Analyst, playing a key role in the successful takeover of the firm by Capital International (Isle of Man). He later served as Fund Manager at Grasta Capital and facilitating trade and finance in the resource and agriculture sector, in a consultancy capacity. 


      Kaleb Vanderham - BS, MBA

      Non-Executive Director

      Born and raised in California, Kaleb spent a decade working in the wine industry – first as a winemaker, and later as a consultant to SMEs looking to expand production and diversify portfolios. Since moving to the UK, Kaleb has shifted into consultancy within the medical cannabis industry, with a particular interest in maximizing long term value creation. His MBA emphasised strategic leadership in rapidly changing industries, and his dissertation focused on feasibility of cannabis investment in the UK.


      Leonhard Terp


      Brings a wealth of experience in building pharmaceutical businesses, with 29 years in the sector. Starting at Astra Chemicals, before a move to Strathmann AG as the Sales & Marketing Director establishing the Rx unit for the Company, successfully growing its OTC unit for Osteoporosis. Moving to Easyway AG as the General Manager to build the commercial operation of two start-ups in the med/device field and OTC dietary products. Headhunted by Shire Pharma Germany as the Vice President & General Manager; growing the German business from 2M to 150M in 10 years. Later moving to Stallergenes GmbH as the General Manager, and now consulting for Vanda pharmaceuticals, Ethypharm and AOP Austrian Orphan Pharma.


      Johnathan Roper


      First qualifying as a solicitor in 1998 at Kingsford Stacy, Jonathan has been a partner and corporate head at Collyer Bristow and Irvine and Partners LLP. He brings with him a depth of legal experience and holds an advanced diploma in corporate finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is specialising in all aspects of corporate and commercial work, from incorporation through to merger, flotation and sale. Which enables him to comfortably, and confidently, advise companies from start-up funding through to venture capital investment. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Old Cholmleian Business Section.


      Rory Dyer


      Rory began his career as a broker in the European equity markets with a focus on the small to mid-size quoted equities. Following this, he has spent several years as an emerald dealer in Colombia both buying and marketing in-country and selling internationally. Rory is a co-founder of Hexa Resources, a vertically integrated British coloured gemstone exploration and mining company,  developing mining assets in Colombia and Brazil and has played a vital part in the funding strategy and origination of mining assets for the business ahead of a listing on the Canadian Stock Exchange (CSE). 

      Lindsay Gayman - B.S.c.N


      Having a holistic understanding of cannabinoid therapy comes as second nature to Lindsay. The founder of MC Consulting, her background in nursing helps her in the implementation & development of advanced medical cannabis treatment programs. She has consulted and collaborated internationally, assisting enterprises in building suitable tailor-made frameworks from the ground up. From creating workshops and educational summaries of proposals to university-level content, Lindsay brings a wealth of planning and management experience. As more and more countries approach legalisation.


      Chana Greenberg


      Chana has 20 years experience in the startup and innovation space, transitioning from traditional banking at Barclays and JP Morgan to Buttonwood Capital, founded by a former Goldman Sachs partner, where she researched artificial spinal discs and dental implants. She is the Vice-Chair of Hadassah UK, supporting Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, a founding pioneer in medicinal cannabis since 1964. She has joined the ‘Centre for Medical Cannabis to fast track our members’ supply chain to market, and holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge and completed SAID Business School’s Private Equity Program at the University of Oxford.


      The company aims to be a global competitor and the premier cultivator of medical cannabis across Africa. By the end of 2020 a refined, established, and replicable model will be in place ready to initiate aggressive expansion into multiple African countries.
